A village shrine of the shrine on the summit of Zao
As a village shrine of Kattamine Shrine, located at the summit of Zao, the spirit of the gods is transferred here during winter. It is dedicated to the water gods, Amano Mikumarino Kami and Kunino Mikumarino Kami. In the era of Meiji (1872), it was named as Mikumari Shrine, and later in 1875, it became Kattamine Shrine. Votive tablets (Ema) have become Zao Town designated Cultural Asset.
