    Exciting Bike Road Racing, the Zao Hill Climbing Event, Japan
    An annual bike racing event in May.
    The exciting mountain bike race goes through Zao Eco-line and Zao High-line lined with snow walls with a total distance of 18.7 km and an altitude difference of 1,334 m.

    Toogatta Street Performance
    An annual event in early June, the Toogatta Street Performance happens at the shopping street of Toogattaonsen. The main road in Toogattaonsen, Zao Town in Miyagi becomes vehicle-free, and famous street performers from both Japan and overseas present impressive, amazing performance and heart-warming live concerts to visitors.

    Miyagi Zao Starry sky watching "Walking in the sky de Walking in the start sky"
    A sky-watching event named “Walking the Stars" is held at the Miyagi Zao Eboshi Resort. Enjoy your sky walk by taking the ropeway with an altitude 1,100m and enjoy the sparkling night view of Sendai, the city of trees, as well as Zao's starry sky at the observatory deck. You can find detailed explanation about the constellations and stars at the observatory deck.

    Toogattaonsen Costume Bon-Odori Festival
    A remarkable summer event in Toogatta. Local residents and visitors put on fancy costumes and dance at the Toogattaonsen district. Walk-ins are welcomed! Let's come and dance with the traditional rhyme of "Yooisassa, Yoisassa!". A special prize will be given to a participant with the most impressive costume.
