It is located in 40 min. by car on the way to Togatta Onsen from JR Shiroishi Zao Station
In the middle of the extentious nature of Zao, here sits the "Miyagi Zao Resort"
This place has 10 various courses for those who want to enjoy skiing all day. The 35 degree slope course, and the 4300 m long course with 700 m difference in altitute. It is one of the largest ski resorts in Miyagi.
The road to Eboshi Resort is equipped with a snow melting facility is no worries for driving in a snowy road!
The parking lot is opened for free on weekdays.
Use their direct bus to the ski resort. "Shirokumagou"(Reservation required) from Sendai station and Free shuttle bus (only on weekends and holidays) from "Gozain Hall" in Zao town and Togatta Onsen.
From the top, you can enjoy the scenery of Sendai, Matushima and the Pacific Ocean. They also have the fine fluffy powder snow so it's the best place for people who want to skii hard!
If you already master the turns, try the 4.3km long "Dinamic course"which they have gentle slopes and perfect for beginners
The spacious skii area is also popular for begginers and kids.
"Kids Park" is recommended to families with kids.
Use their 80m long snow escalator to enjoy skiing and snowboarding. (Available on weekends and holidays.)
"Yuki no Yuenchi (Snow amusment park)" has slopes for sleds and airdomes. Near the place is a resting place.
Don't forget to try their Zaosama's small train too!
At night the atmosphere and the scenery is different form the one in day time. They also offer discounts for night runs so don't miss the chance.
During the ski season, they offer lots of exciting events. Participate with your kids in their popular "Kids sled competition"
In the end of Janarary, they have "Eboshi firework festival" which 1000 fireworks can be seen in the sky of the ski resort.
Join the event for free. While they open the resort for skiing, many people come and see the fireworks.
Besides the skiing season, they hold seasonal festivals at the resort.
In spring, the narcissus brings a different scenery from the one in winter.
In summer, here is a perfect place for trekking and feel the nature, or for watching the stunning night sky with full of stars.
