Miyagi Zao Forest Nature Observation Center of Wild Bird, as known as Kotori Hausu is one the way to Zao Eboshi Resort from the center of Togatta Onsen.
Here not only you can enjoy the exhibitions of Zao's nature and birds but also the events they hold every month.
Also the natural craft workshop is popular.
You can try at "Mori-no-wakuwaku craft corner" (300yen per craft)
On the table they collect colorful leaves, yellow and red tree berries, pinecones and acorns which will be used for crafts.
Each of them are classified with lables.
You can try making a similar one as your favorite samples!
Collect items you want to use for your art.
We used glue gun for attaching. Everyone can use it easily
This art workshop is not only for kids but also for adults! You will sure get into it.
Next we made "Kotori brooch /magnet" (300yen)
Color the wooden bird with marker.
Choose your favorite bird.
Trace the wooden bird on a paper.
You can choose whether you want to make it into a brooch or a magnet.
Also try making "Shiny tree" (200yenn)
Make a cute mini tree by decorating the colored pinecone with beads.
Reserve for workshop anytime.
